Odisha: BJD stages statewide protest over NEET paper leak, seeks Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation

Bhubaneswar, May 13 (UNI) The Biju Janata Dal’s youth and student wings today organised statewide protests across Odisha over the alleged NEET question paper leak, demanding a fair probe into the incident and seeking the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on moral grounds.
The protests were jointly led by the Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) in several parts of the State, including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Baripada, Angul, Jajpur and Balasore.
In Bhubaneswar, a major demonstration was held in front of Utkal University under the leadership of BYJD state president Chinmay Sahu and BCJD president Ipsita Sahu. In Cuttack, party workers staged a protest near Christ College condemning the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination process.

Kolkata, Jun 6 (UNI) In what is being seen as the most ambitious railway infrastructure package announced for West Bengal in recent years, union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday unveiled railway projects worth nearly Rs 1 lakh crore, including a proposed Delhi-Siliguri bullet train corridor, 102 Amrit Bharat stations, 538 flyovers and underpasses, 61 new railway projects and a major expansion of the Kolkata Metro network.
