Odisha: Dreaded criminal injured in police encounter in Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar, June 11 (UNI) A dreaded criminal was injured in an exchange of fire with Bhadrak Rural Police in the early hours of Thursday in Odisha's Bhadrak district.
The injured criminal, identified as Prafulla Mallik alias Pappu, sustained a bullet injury to his right leg during the encounter.
He was initially admitted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital and was later shifted to a hospital in Cuttack for security reasons, police sources said.
