Odisha excise department seizes contraband worth Rs.1.25 Crore in statewide raids

Bhubaneswar, Sep 6 (UNI) The Excise Department of Odisha continued its statewide crackdown on illicit liquor and narcotics, seizing contraband valued at Rs.1.25 crore in a single-day operation.
According to official sources, the day-long raids led to the detection of 250 cases linked to illicit liquor and narcotics.
A total of 115 individuals were arrested, while 79 others were released under the provisions of Section 35 of the BNSS.
