Bhubaneswar, March 21 (UNI) Odisha is a peaceful state, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said while denying the opposition allegations of describing the state as being lawless.
Replying to the debate on grants for the General Administration and Public grievances department in the Odisha Assembly, Patnaik said investment, Industrial production, Agricultural production, transport and major logistical movements conduct major events are the reflection of the law and order situation.
The Chief Minister said growth and revenue generation is directly proportional to the law-and-order situation of the state. The state, he claimed, recorded the highest growth rates on a continuous basis and the revenue generation is increasing year after year.
