Odisha: Three killed, two injured in road accident

Bhubaneswar, Oct 17 (UNI) At least three people were killed and two critically injured when a car in which they were travelling skidded and hit the road divider on the national highway in Odisha’s Bargarh district headquarters township early on Thursday, police said.
Locals and police personnel rushed to the spot to rescue two occupants trapped inside the mangled car. The three occupants were declared dead at the district headquarters hospital, police added.
Police sources said the car driver, who was driving at a high speed, might have possibly dozed off, leading to the accident. Police said an unnatural death case has been registered.
