Odisha to send 775 senior citizens on pilgrimage to Omkareshwar and Ujjain

Bhubaneswar, Nov 7 (UNI) About 775 pilgrims from six districts of Odisha will depart from Bhubaneswar Railway Station on November 25 for Omkareshwar and Ujjain under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme of the Odisha Government.
The pilgrims, representing the districts of Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, and Dhenkanal, will be accompanied by 25 officials and are scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on November 30.
This journey marks the second phase of the pilgrimage programme for the current financial year. Under the scheme, senior citizens are provided an opportunity to visit important religious destinations across India at government expense.
