Oppn demands 1 day spl session of Delhi assly to discuss CAG report on ad spending

New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Attacking the AAP government over its failure to table in Delhi Assembly the CAG report on the ad spending by the Delhi government, the State BJP president Satish Upadhyay today demanded calling of a special session of the assembly to discuss the report.
Addressing a joint press conference with Leader of Opposition Vijendra Gupta, Mr Updhayay said,''There should be discussion on the CAG report, something which the government is hiding. The Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijendra Gupta had raised the matter and demanded that CAG report be tabled in the assembly but corrupt AAP government paid no heed to it.''
''The government which talked of transparency and good governance is lying to the people of the country. It is suppressing files and the corruption committed by it. The biggest corruption is the 'Ad corruption' in which the development money of the people was siphoned off to publish full page ads in news dailies to gain publicity for its policies,'' he said.
