Partha Chatterjee set to walk free after over three years in jail

Kolkata, Nov 10 (UNI) Former West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee is finally set to be released from jail after spending more than three years in custody in connection with the multi-crore SSC teacher recruitment scam.

A special CBI court ordered Chatterjee’s release today. Once the court’s documents reach the Chief Judicial Officer, there will be no further legal obstacle to his freedom.
