PM Modi enters 25th year in Public Office

New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) Expressing gratitude to the people of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today marked the beginning of his 25th year in public office, recalling his journey from the Chief Ministership of Gujarat to the helm of the nation.
“On this day in 2001, I took oath as Gujarat’s Chief Minister. Thanks to the continuous blessings of my fellow Indians, I now enter my 25th year in public service. My deep gratitude to the people of India,” he wrote in a post on X.
Sharing a photograph from his first swearing-in ceremony in 2001, Modi said the responsibility came during a period of adversity, when Gujarat was reeling from the impact of a devastating earthquake, along with earlier droughts and political instability.
