PM Modi Expresses Solidarity with Philippines After Deadly Mindanao Earthquake

New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief over the loss of lives and widespread destruction caused by a powerful earthquake that struck the Mindanao region of the Philippines, conveying India's solidarity with the affected people and government during the difficult time.
‎In a message posted on social media platform X, Modi extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
‎“Saddened by the loss of lives and destruction caused by today’s earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured. India stands in solidarity with the people and the Government of the Philippines,” the Prime Minister said.
