PM Modi has given new pride to sanatan traditions, Chhattisgarh CM Sai

Raipur, May 11 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has given renewed recognition to the India's Sanatan traditions and spiritual heritage. He said major religious and cultural centres across India are witnessing rapid development and restoration.
Sai was speaking at the “Somnath Swabhiman Parv” programme held at the Hatkeshwar Mahadev temple complex at Mahadev Ghat in Raipur. During the event, the Chief Minister, along with devotees and public representatives, virtually joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address and prayers offered at the Somnath temple in Gujarat.
It is noteworthy that in his address, the Prime Minister spoke about the history of the Somnath temple, repeated invasions on the shrine, its reconstruction after Independence and ongoing efforts to preserve important centres of faith across the country.

Panchkula, Jun 17 (UNI) Haryana Police have apprehended a Delhi resident for allegedly driving a Thar SUV in a rash and negligent manner on the Sohna-Gurugram Road, endangering the lives of commuters, after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
According to Police, a viral video that came to the notice of Police Station Sadar, Gurugram, on June 17 showed a Thar driver speeding on the busy Sohna-Gurugram Road and overtaking other vehicles recklessly, posing a serious threat to public safety.
