PM Modi, Prez Macron to launch Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, showcasing India's deep-tech ambitions on global stage ‎

‎‎New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI) ‎Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron will jointly inaugurate Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France, on June 14, marking a major milestone in the growing India-France strategic partnership and underscoring both countries' commitment to advancing innovation, deep technology and entrepreneurship.
According to an official government release issued on Friday, the inaugural edition of Bharat Innovates 2026 will be held at the Palais des Expositions de Nice and is expected to bring together some of India's most promising innovators, global investors, industry leaders and academic institutions on a common platform aimed at fostering technology-driven collaboration.
‎Organised by the union Ministry of Education, the event will feature 120 Indian innovators and start-ups selected from across the country, around 15 higher education institutions, more than 500 investors, leading corporate representatives, venture capital firms, global chief executive officers and industry leaders. The participants will engage across 13 critical sectors, including advanced computing, semiconductors, space technology, biotechnology, energy, healthcare and advanced manufacturing.
