Policing is a calling rooted in sacrifice and service: BSF DG Daljit Singh Chawdhary

Hyderabad, Oct 17 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary on Friday called upon the newly commissioned IPS officers to uphold integrity, compassion, and courage as they begin their service to the nation.
Addressing the 77th Batch of Regular Recruits (77RR) at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) during the Passing Out Parade, the BSF chief said, "policing is not merely a profession but a calling rooted in sacrifice and service".
“This ground, steeled in tradition and sacrifice, has witnessed the making of generations of leaders. Today, it is your turn to step into that legacy,” he told the officer trainees, lauding Parade Commander Anjit A. Nair and all participants for their exemplary display of discipline and precision.
