Powerful behind-the-scenes video of 'Raja Shivaji' anthem 'Chhatrapati' released

Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) The makers of "Raja Shivaji" have unleashed a powerful behind-the-scenes video of the film's anthem 'Chhatrapati', composed by the renowned duo Ajay-Atul.
Actor-director Ritesh Deshmukh, who directs, writes, produces and plays the titular role, appears as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the anthem. The video offers a glimpse of the film's grand musical vision, elevating the scale of this historical film.
The meticulous craftsmanship of Ajay-Atul and their team, with the anthem's stirring orchestration and dynamic soundscape promising an immersive big-screen experience. The main chorus has already been released and is receiving a positive response from audiences. The full anthem, composed and sung by the duo, is slated for release on April 13.
The film features a stellar cast including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Boman Irani, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amol Gupte and Genelia Deshmukh.

Presented by Jio Studios and produced under the banner of Mumbai Film Company, the movie is backed by Jyoti Deshpande and Genelia Deshmukh. This historical film, based on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, will be released in theaters worldwide on May 1, 2026, in Marathi and Hindi.
