Protesting MGNREGA and construction workers march to Himachal secretariat

Shimla, Jun 5 (UNI) Thousands of workers marched towards the Himachal Pradesh secretariat here on Monday protesting against the Sukhu government for depriving construction workers of the benefit of the Labour Welfare Board.

At the call of CITU-affiliated MGNREGA and Construction Workers Federation, thousands of labourers from all the districts of the state had started gathering at Toland Chowk since morning. They carried banners and shouted slogans, and tried to marchtowards the Secretariat in Chhota Shimla.
