Washington, Jul 4 (UNI) A group of protestors in the US State of Maryland toppled a statue of Christopher Columbus, the person who discovered the American continent and threw it into the city's Inner Harbor.
The incidence took place on Saturday, which happened to be the American Independence Day, as per the reports in 'The Baltimore Sun'
The incident was caught on tape, where the demonstrators could be seen taking down the statue using a rope, with the July 4 fireworks being audible at a distance.
