Providing power during summers & monsoon periodically is our top priority : Haryana ACS

Chandigarh, Mar 6 (UNI) Haryana Additional Chief Secretary (Power) P K Das said during the times of changing seasons, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the people of the state is the upmost priority of the state government.
Addressing a state level meeting with all Managing Directors and Engineer Groups of Electricity held at Panchkula, the ACS said 10894 MW of electricity was used during the summer months last year. This year 12187 MW power is currently available.
Giving directions regarding pre-diagnosis of the problems related to electricity supply during the upcoming summer season, he said the problem of overloaded transfers should be immediately eliminated and repair of 11 kV Sub-station and Low tension Lines should be done so that even in the summer season, power supply can continue smoothly without interruption.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
