Punjab CM invites Bengaluru industrialists to invest

Chandigarh, Oct 14 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today met leading industrialists in Bengaluru and invited them to invest in Punjab, highlighting the state’s favourable environment for industry and entrepreneurship.
During the interaction, Mann said Punjab has emerged as one of the most preferred investment destinations due to its transparent governance, industry-friendly policies, and peaceful atmosphere. He noted that the state’s people are known for their hard work and enterprise, contributing significantly to the nation’s food security and defence.
The Chief Minister said that since March 2022, Punjab has received investment proposals worth Rs 1.23 lakh crore, expected to generate employment for about 4.7 lakh youth. Key sectors driving this growth include food processing, textiles, auto components, hand tools, bicycles, IT, and tourism.
