Punjab VB arrests clerk posted in ESI Dispensary for taking Rs 15,000 bribe

Chandigarh, Feb 28 (UNI) The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) officials on Wednesday apprehended Ravinder Singh, Clerk, posted in ESI Dispensary Dhandari Kalan in Ludhiana for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000.

An official spokesperson of the state VB said the Clerk was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by Rajwant Singh of village Chankoian in Ludhiana district, who is employed as peon at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Doraha.
