Srinagar, Aug 12 (UNI) A soldier was injured when militants attacked a Quick Reaction Team (QRT) on the national highway in north Kashmir district of Baramulla Wednesday afternoon, a defence ministry spokesman said.
He said a QRT on way to Gulmarg from Baramulla was fired upon by militants at Trumgund Hygam crossing on the highway today. A soldier was injured in the attack, Col Rajesh Kalia said.
Security forces immediately sealed the entire area and launched a massive search operation in the area.
