Rahul Gandhi accuses Modi govt of running a “Chor Bazaar,” alleges theft of rights and opportunities

‎‎New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday launched a sharp political attack on the Narendra Modi-led Centre, accusing the government of systematically “stealing” the rights, opportunities and resources of different sections of society, and alleged that the country was being run like a “chor bazaar” instead of a government.
‎In a strongly worded post shared on his WhatsApp channel, Gandhi posted a graphic carrying the slogan, “Narendra Modi sarkar nahi, chor bazaar chala rahe hain!” (Narendra Modi is not running a government, but a thieves’ market is running the government. The post listed a series of alleged “thefts” under the BJP government, including “vote theft in elections,” “paper leaks in examinations,” “theft of forests from tribals,” “theft of MSP from farmers,” “land theft from the poor,” “snatching of OBC share,”and “data theft in the US deal.”
‎The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha further said in the post, “Is khuleaam ho rahi chori se desh ko bachane ki zimmedari desh ke yuvaon ki hai aur main unke saath khada hoon,” asserting that it was the responsibility of the country’s youth to save India from what he described as open loot and that he stood firmly with them.
