Rahul Gandhi leads fresh opposition charge over exam row, says ‘one minister failed every age group’

‎New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday led a fresh opposition offensive against the Centre over a string of examination and policy controversies, accusing union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan of “failing every single age group of India’s students at once.”
‎Citing three separate incidents, Gandhi argued that the Education Ministry’s handling of NEET, CBSE Class 12 results, and a new Class 9 language mandate had thrown lakhs of students into uncertainty.
‎“First the NEET paper leak affecting 22 lakh students,” a statement shared by Gandhi on platform X read. The NEET 2026 exam was cancelled this month after reports of a widespread paper leak, with the CBI now investigating the issue. This came after NEET 2024 was also hit by a confirmed leak, though that exam was not cancelled.
