Rahul Gandhi meets family of Dalit lynching victim in Fatehpur

Fatehpur, Oct 17 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today met the family of Hariom Valmiki, a Dalit youth who was lynched on October 2 in Rae Bareli over allegations of theft.
The emotional meeting took place in Fatehpur, where Gandhi spoke with the victim's parents, brother, and sister for about 25 minutes.
After the meeting, Gandhi addressed the media and made serious allegations against the state administration. “The family has been locked in their house and is being intimidated. I was told that the government threatened them this morning, warning them not to meet me. They were also forced to record a video,” he said.
