New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) Amid massive showdown between the Opposition and ruling party members, the Rajya Sabha on Thursday could barely function and was adjourned for the day after it re-convened post-lunch hour.
The Upper House was first adjourned till 2 PM as confrontation between the Opposition and Treasury bench members continued.
When the House met again at 2 PM, the protests continued. While Dhankhar was in the Chair, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) Mallikarjun Kharge protested against the accusations levelled by ruling party members against Sonia Gandhi.
