Residents in 44 localities in Meghalaya’s capital Shillong drinking unsafe water

Shillong, Oct 3 (UNI) The state food testing laboratory has revealed that residents in 44 out of the 46 localities here in Meghalaya’s capital are drinking unsafe water supplied by the State Public Health Engineering Department.

The laboratory report of the water quality samples was shared to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma by the Federation of Khasi Jaiñtia and Garo People (FKJGP) on Tuesday.
