Rinku Rajguru’s Marathi film 'Aasha' to release on December 19

Pune, Dec 13 (UNI) Marathi actress Rinku Rajguru said here on Saturday that her film "Aasha" is set to release on December 19.
The trailer of the film was released a few days ago which sparked tremendous curiosity among audiences.
The powerful and meaningful tagline, “She stood her ground… and that’s why she was tested,” makes the impact of the trailer even stronger.
The film presents a sensitive and realistic journey of women’s struggles, their resilience, and their ongoing battle with society.
In the trailer, Rinku Rajguru’s character Aasha is not just an individual but a symbol of countless women. She is a health worker who shoulders the responsibility of public healthcare in rural areas, a woman facing family pressures, a warrior standing firmly against injustice, and a person who tirelessly fights to achieve her dreams.
These many dimensions of 'Aasha' are portrayed effectively. The fire, pain, and restlessness in her life deeply touch the audience.
The inspirational song “Chalat Raha Pudhe” from the film is also gaining popularity.
Energizing Aasha’s struggle, the song has received overwhelming appreciation on social media and has become a source of motivation for many.
Along with Rinku Rajguru, the film features important roles by Sayankit Kamat, Usha Naik, Shubhangi Bhujbal, Suhas Shirsat, Disha Dandade, Dilip Ghare, and Harsha Gupte.
The film powerfully weaves together social realities, harsh judgments imposed on women, emotional pressure, and the fight for identity. "Aasha" is not just the story of a health worker, but the story of millions of women who struggle every day at different levels—this is the film’s greatest strength.
Director Deepak Patil says, “Aasha is not just the journey of one health worker. She represents millions of women who spend their lives caring for others, overcome their fears, and never give up under any circumstances. Through this film, we want to bring these unsung warriors into the light.”
'Aasha' is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Nilesh Kuwar, Daivata Patil, and Deepak Patil, with Murlidhar Chatwani and Ravindra Auti as co-producers.
Presented by Panorama Studios, the film—with its fresh narrative and realistic storytelling—will release in theatres on December 19.
