Panchkula, Jun 6 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has congratulated Rohtak's promising boxer Meenakshi Hooda on becoming the world's No. 1 boxer for the second consecutive time, describing her achievement as a matter of pride for both Haryana and the country.
In a message posted on social media, the Chief Minister said that Meenakshi Hooda, a resident of Rudki village in Rohtak district, has been ranked the world's No. 1 boxer in the 48-kg weight category by the World Boxing Federation.
Saini said that the achievement reflects Meenakshi's hard work, discipline and unwavering determination. He added that her success serves as an inspiration for young athletes, particularly girls, who aspire to excel in sports at the highest level.
