Rs 2,18,302.70 Crore budget presented in Bihar

Patna, Feb 22 (UNI) Budget of Rs 2,18,302.70 Crore for the financial year 2021-22 was presented in Bihar Assembly on Monday with maximum allocation of Rs 38,035.93 Crores while Rs Rs 4,671 Crores was allocated for ambitious schemes under the part 2 of seven resolves of the state government for Atmanirbhar Bihar.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad, after presenting the budget in the House, told media persons here, said that size of the budget for the financial year 2021-22, was Rs 2,18, 302.70 Crores. It was Rs 6,541 Crores more than the budgetary size of Rs 2,11,761.49 Crores of the financial year 2020-21, he added.
Deputy Chief Minister said that state government had taken a number of steps in last 15 years to improve education scenario in Bihar. A total allocation of Rs 38,035.93 had been made in Education sector for the financial year 2021-22, he added.
