Rs 5 Lakh compensation announced for families of deceased in Barabanki incident

Barabanki, Aug 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident in Barabanki today, which claimed five lives including of four women.

Extending his condolences to the bereaved families, the Chief Minister announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh to each of the victims' families.

UP govt to provide SBI salary package benefits to 10 lakh employees of the Basic Education Department

Lucknow, July 10 (UNI) Approximately 10 lakh permanent and contractual employees of Uttar Pradesh's Basic Education Department will be brought under State Bank of India's (SBI) salary package through a proposed agreement between the state government and the country's largest lender, giving them access to insurance and other banking benefits linked to their salary accounts.
