ParliamentPosted at: Dec 1 2015 7:53PM RS passes resolution reaffirming commitment to ideals of ConstitutionNew Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha today unanimously passed a resolution reaffirming its commitment to the principles and ideals of the Constitution and lauding contributions of its founding fathers, including Dr B R Ambedkar, Pt Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr Rajendra Prasad. The resolution read out by Rajya Sabh chairman said, "We, the Members of Rajya Sabha, in the sittings of the Rajya Sabha held on the 27th and 30th of November and 1st of December, 2015, for celebrating the 'Constitution Day' as part of the 125th birth anniversary celebration of Dr B R Ambedkar".
