Hamirpur (HP), Feb 5(UNI) HP Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo has said that the road link between Salauni and Deotsidh in the district would be made double laned. He made this announcement during his maiden visit to the temple of Baba Balak Nath at Deotsidh last night.
Earlier, he paid obeisance at the temple, took part in a havan and sought blessings of Baba Ji for the state people and his family. He was accompanied by his wife Kamlesh Kumari.
The temple trust led by Deputy Commissioner, Debasweta Banik handed over a replica of Baba Balak Nath in the shape of a memento to the Chief Minister.
The Mahant of the temple Rajendra Giri had also talked with the chief minister during the visit and also offered a mala of Rudraksha to the Chief Minister.
After paying obeisance, the Chief Minister said that in order to provide better road facilities to the devotees, “I announce to double line the main road from Salauni to Deotsidh”.
He also announced making a policy soon to regularize the employees working in the trust for 27 years.
Let us tell you that before the arrival of the Chief Minister, the security system was tightened in the temple. The Barsar police team was keeping a close watch on everyone.
