Jammu, Feb 27 (UNI) Asserting that his politics is not religion based, former Rajya Sabha Member Parliament Ghulam Nabi Azad on Saturday said that the politics should not be religion based.
“My politics was never based on religion or cast and I must say that everybody has the right to form the government but politics of religion should not be involved,” Mr Azad here said addressing the gathering at ‘Shanti Sammelan’ organised by the Gandhi Global Family.
Mr Azad, one of the G-23 members of the Congress party, has also invited his colleagues for The Gandhi Global Family event comprising Kapil Sibal, Manish Tewari, Anand Sharma, Bhupinder Hooda and Raj Babbar.
