SC asks petitioner to move EC over applying POSH Act to political parties

New Delhi, Dec 9 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday disposed of the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking to implement the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act to political parties.
A bench comprising Justice Surya Kant and Justice Manmohan advised the petitioner to first approach the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The court disposed of the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Advocate Yogamaya M G, granting her the liberty to return to the court if her grievance remains unresolved.
