Sciver-Brunt’s ton guides England to 89-run win

Colombo, Oct 11 (UNI) England Women put on a masterclass at the R. Premadasa Stadium today, hammering Sri Lanka Women by 89 runs in what was a thoroughly commanding display in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025.
From the moment England won the toss and elected to bat, it was clear they had a game plan, and they executed it to perfection.
Nat Sciver-Brunt was simply magnificent. There is no other word for it. The England captain carved out a superb 117 off 117 balls, a knock that had everything—timing, placement, aggression.
