Hyderabad, Aug 15 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) remains in the forefront of providing better passenger amenities and modern facilities to passengers, SCR General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, here today.
Addressing after hoisting National flag on the occasion of 79th Independence Day, here, Sanjay said installation of Kavach – Indigenous Automatic Train Protection system has been sanctioned across South Central Railway (SCR) for 4655 Rkm which is more than 70% of the network said SCR General Manager
The 4655 Rkm includes tenders for upgrading Kavach version 3.2 to 4.0 over 1,400 Rkms and new installations on 1,618 Rkms, he said.
