Mumbai, Aug 19 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped 85 points at 60,206.80 as selling was seen in Energy, FMCG and Finance stocks.
The Nifty too eased 26.50 points at 17,930.
The sensitive index registered days high and low at 60,411.20 and 60,179.54 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 17,992.20 and 17,917.30 points respectively.
In 30 scrips, 11 advanced while 19 declined.
The losers were IndusInd Bank by 2.27 per cent to Rs 1,080.05; Powergrid by 1.73 per cent to Rs 227.20; Sun Pharma by 1.17 per cent to Rs 905; Hind Unilever by 1.16 per cent to Rs 2,650 and Bajaj finance by 1.15 per cent to Rs 16,621.40.
The gainers were Tech Mahindra by 2.09 per cent to Rs 1,128.40; L& T by 1.94 per cent to Rs 1,930.95, Wipro by 1.08 per cent to Rs 439.70 and Infosys by 1.07 per cent to Rs 1,599.70.
