Seven more arrested in Kendrapara Dalit youth lynching case

Kendrapara, Jun 8 (UNI): Odisha Police on Monday arrested seven more persons, including the husband of a village sarpanch, for their alleged involvement in the abduction and lynching of a Dalit youth in Kendrapara district.
Kendrapara Superintendent of Police (SP) Siddharth Kataria told reporters that the latest arrests include Manoj Sahoo, husband of the local sarpanch, Nalini Sahoo, Sanjay Kabi, Bablu Das, Lipu Mahakud, Premoj Mahakud and Bablu Mahakud, who allegedly drove the Bolero vehicle used to transport the victim’s body.
Police also seized a Bolero vehicle, an artificial grass mat, seven mobile phones, iron rods, bamboo sticks and broken glass bottles believed to be linked to the crime.
