Simdega police arrest six members of pickpocketing gang active in weekly markets

Simdega, Dec 10 (UNI) Police in Simdega have busted an active pickpocketing gang involved in purse theft incidents at the Thethaitangar weekly market.
In a swift operation, five women and one man were arrested and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
Superintendent of Police M. Arshi said the case came to light on December 9 when Sohati Khadia, a resident of Semarkudar, filed a complaint stating that three to four unidentified women had stolen her purse.
