SMPK celebrates Netaji Jayanti with fervour

Kolkata, Jan 23 (UNI) Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK) on Thursday celebrated Netaji Jayanti with great fervour, paying tribute to legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 128th birth anniversary.
During the auspicious celebration, Chairman Rathendra Raman, Deputy Chairman Samrat Rahi and Sr Commandant, CISF, SMPK Unit, led the celebrations by offering flowers to the statue of Netaji.
The ceremony was a poignant reminder of Netaji's unwavering commitment to India's independence and his inspiring leadership. As the oldest operating port in India, SMPK has a rich history and a deep connection with the nation's freedom struggle.

BRO’s 763 BRTF launches medical check-up drive for labourers in remote Arunachal

Itanagar, Nov 11 (UNI) In a remarkable welfare initiative, the 763 Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) under Project Vartak, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has launched a comprehensive medical check-up drive for more than 4,000 road construction labourers working across the
remote high-altitude regions of Tawang district.
Mobile medical teams have been deployed to conduct on-site health examinations at Damteng, Yangtse, Sungetsar, and Klemta — among the most inaccessible and challenging locations in Arunachal Pradesh.

More than 75 percent enumeration forms distributed in West Bengal
