Smriti Irani's name found missing from panchayat voter list in Amethi

Amethi, Jun 12(UNI) The name of former union Minister and ex Amethi MP Smriti Irani was found missing from the voters' list published for the three-tier Panchayat voter list in Medan Mavai Gram Panchayat in Amethi district.
Smriti Irani's name was included in the voters' list in the previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. After the matter came to light, District Magistrate Amethi Sanjay Chauhan ordered an investigation into the matter.
The missing name of former union Minister Smriti Irani from the Panchayat voter list in Amethi has raised serious questions about the district administration. This was revealed during the final publication of the Panchayat voters' list on June 10. Smriti Irani's name was included in the Medan Mavai Gram Panchayat in the district in the previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Smriti Irani also came here to cast her vote from the same constituency in the 2024 general elections.
