Stage-III of GRAP implemented in Delhi-NCR as air quality reaches severe level

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) As the daily average Air Quality Index (AQI) in the Delhi-NCR region breached the "severe" level, registering an AQI of 424, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Thursday ordered the implementation of the third stage of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in the region.
The order will be effective Friday morning.
The decision is in addition to the measures under Stage-I and Stage-II of GRAP, which are already in force in NCR, an official statement said.
