Sub-Inspector killed in road accident in Bahraich

Bahraich, Dec 9 (UNI) Sub-Inspector Rahul Gupta (30) died in a tragic road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district.
The incident occurred on Monday evening near the Gudh crossroads on the Nanpara–Lakhimpur road, where an unidentified vehicle reportedly hit his motorcycle with force, leaving him critically injured, police said on Tuesday.
According to residents, Gupta fell on the roadside after the collision, and they immediately informed the police. A police team rushed to the spot and transported the seriously injured officer to the district hospital. After initial treatment, doctors referred him to Lucknow. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
