Sukhoi-30 MKIs, Jaguars join Royal Navy F-35Bs for India-UK aerial drill

New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) A high-intensity joint exercise was carried out by the Indian Air Force along with the United Kingdom’s Carrier Strike Group (CSG) over the Indian Ocean Region.
IAF’s Sukhoi-30 MKIs, Jaguars, AWACS & AEW&C aircraft. Royal Navy’s F-35Bs from HMS Prince of Wales participated in the exercise, on Tuesday.
In a post on X, the IAF wrote, “On 14 Oct 25, IAF Sukhoi-30 MKIs, Jaguars, AWACS & AEW&C aircraft joined Royal Navy F-35Bs from HMS Prince of Wales for a joint exercise over the Indian Ocean Region. The training strengthened interoperability, mutual trust, and collective commitment to regional stability.”

SC seeks Centre’s response on PIL alleging unregulated airfare hikes by private airlines

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Central Government, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) on a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking clear regulations and an independent mechanism to control unpredictable airfare hikes and additional charges imposed by private airlines.

SC clarifies OBC quota directions in Maha local body polls; says 50pc reservation cap cannot be breached
