SunPetro to establish three pumped storage hydropower projects in Telangana

Hyderabad, Jan 26 (UNI) Sun Petrochemicals (SunPetro) to establish three pumped storage hydropower projects in Nagarkurnool, Mancherial, and Mulugu districts in Telangana with an estimated investment of Rs 45,500 crore.
The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana on the sidelines of WEF at Davos, Switzerland, recently.
These projects will have a combined capacity of 3,400 MW and will be complemented by integrated solar power plants with a capacity of 5,440 MW, the Mumbai-based company said in a release on Saturday.

Leading the high-level U.S. delegation is Chargé d’Affaires Jorgan Andrews, accompanied by senior officials from the U.S. Departments of State, Defense, and Commerce.

Chennai, Feb 9 (UNI) The four-month pregnant woman passenger, who was pushed out off a running Express train after resisting a sexual assault bid by a drunkard inside the Ladies compartment has suffered a miscarriage, even as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed deep shock over the incident and announced a solatium of Rs three lakhs to her and that her full medical expenses would be borne by the State government.
