Basel, Mar 6 (UNI) Indian ace shuttler PV Sindhu stormed into the women’s singles final of the Swiss Open Super 300 Tournament, here on Saturday.
The second-seed Sindhu took 43 minutes to beat fourth-seeded Denmanrk's Mia Blichfeldt 22-20, 21-10 in straight games.
On Friday, she had defeated Thailand's Busanan Ongbamrungphan 21-16, 23-21 in the quarter-finals in 59 minutes.
In the men's category, Kidambi Srikanth on Friday had defeated sixth-seeded Kantaphon Wangcharoen of Thailand to save his berth in semi-finals.
Meanwhile, in the men's doubles category, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also stormed into the semis.
