Tamils fleeing Sri Lanka: Minister

Colombo, Nov 29 (UNI) Tamils are fleeing Sri Lanka's north and east due to the dire economic situation in the country, Foreign Minister Ali Sabry said in remarks published on Tuesday.
The Minister told Parliament that 302 Tamils have fled to India, Vietnam and Ukraine in the past six months, the Daily Mirror newspaper reported.
He said 85 of those in Vietnam have agreed to come back and the Ministry will facilitate their return.
