TDP claims huge response for its 'missed call' campaign’

Vijayawada, Feb 20 (UNI) The Telugu Desam party in Andhra Pradesh has claimed that the party's missed call campaign has got huge response from people as 20,000 missed calls have been received so far.
The TDP in a press release here on Saturday said that the TDP, headed by former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, is making effective use of technology and social media to take the fight opposing the privatisation of Visakhapatnam Steel plant to the next level.
''As the agitation is becoming more vocal in AP, the Telugu Desam Party has come out with an innovative campaign. A 'missed call' campaign was begun to record people's voices of support for the 'Save Visakha Steel' stir. Till now, more than 20,000 missed calls have been received'', the TDP said.
