Teacher suspended after he allegedly forced students to study Urdu

Bijnor, Aug 4 (UNI) A teacher at a government school in Bijnor district was suspended after he allegedly forced students to study Urdu and even beat them up when they refused.
The matter got attention after a video of the incident went viral on social media, leading to quick action by the education department.
The incident took place at the Government Composite School in Harbanshpur Dharm, under the Kotwali Dehat block. The teacher, Mohammad Salauddin, was reportedly teaching Urdu to students. When they resisted, he allegedly beat them up and threatened them to stay silent. Out of fear the students didn’t tell their parents at first.
