Tejashwi questions silence of PM on NEET student rape and murder in Patna

Patna, Jan 24 (UNI) RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Saturday questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the recent rape-murder of a NEET student in Patna, saying the PM's claims on law and order in the state were for all to see.
Yadav was addressing a function to mark the birth anniversary of veteran socialist leader and former chief minister Karpoori Thakur.
"Both PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah repeatedly claimed during Bihar assembly elections that rule of law was established in the state by the Nitish-led NDA government. Such claims sound hollow in the face of the NEET student's rape-murder," Tejashwi said, questioning why PM Modi was silent on the incident.
