Telangana Assembly election: Celebrities cast their votes in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Nov 30 (UNI) Several celebrities exercised their democratic right by casting their votes in Hyderabad as part of the single-phase Assembly election which is underway in Telangana on Thursday.
Actor Chiranjeevi, accompanied by his family members, cast their votes at a polling station in Jubilee Hills Club.
Tollywood actors Junior NTR and Allu Arjun exercised their franchise in Jubilee Hills.
Both actors reached the polling stations soon after the polling commenced at 7 AM and stood in the queue lines along with other voters.
While Junior NTR, his mother and wife cast their votes at Obulreddy School polling centre, Allu Arjun cast his vote at BSNL polling Center.
Speaking after casting his vote Allu Arjun said, “I request each and everyone of you to come and exercise your franchise responsibly”.
Music director MM Keeravani too cast his vote in Jubilee Hills polling booth.
State’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vikas Raj cast his vote along with his family members in polling station number 188- at Narayana Junior college in SR Nagar.
State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari cast her vote at polling station number 162 at Prashant Nagar, Jubilee hills in the city.
Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar along with his family cast his vote at polling centre in Amberpet Sports Complex in the morning.
Interacting with media persons, he said fool-proof arrangements have been made by the police and the voting is going on peacefully in the state.
He appealed to the people to come out and exercise their franchise.
To ensure a peaceful conduct of the election, the Cyberabad Commissionerate’s police officials made all necessary security arrangements at 3,202 polling stations across 1,191 locations.
